About
Hi, I’m Rebecca, an artist based in Perrysburg, Ohio. My work spans various mediums, including watercolor, oils, pencil, and illumination. Each medium offers unique textures and techniques, and I enjoy exploring them all to create distinctive pieces that reflect both precision and creativity. From delicate watercolor washes to the vibrant richness of gold illumination, each material brings something different to the artistic process.
Much of my inspiration is drawn from the world around me. I often find beauty in the subtle details of nature, geometric patterns, and even the quiet, overlooked moments of daily life. Translating these elements into my art allows me to capture the essence of what makes them special.
When I’m not in the studio, I spend my time traveling to new places, exploring outdoors, and studying historical art techniques to expand my skills. I’m passionate about continuously learning and experimenting to keep my work fresh and engaging. When I’m not painting you can find me trail running, spending time with my husband and pets, or visiting local breweries.
